The Gospel of John
Woodruff Lounge (Room 201)
Jim Mullins, Moderator
John's Gospel contains four sets of sevens: Seven Miracles, Seven Interviews, Seven Discourses, Seven “I Am” Statements from Christ. Each Sun-day a different passage of Scripture will be discussed. The discussion will lead to ways in which class members can effectively grow their own lives from each section selected from the Gospel.

Faith’s Journey Class — The Book of Luke
Room 202
Craig Randolph & Nancy Lacher,
Moderators
The earliest tradition about the Gospel of Luke tells us that it was written for people outside of Palestine. This gospel and its sequel (The Book of Acts) were placed in the Bible to redirect the gospel message from one sent to Jewish Christians towards “God fearing” Gentiles like ourselves. We'll be studying the Book of Luke and its 24 chapters at a rate of one chapter per week. Please join us in our thought-provoking discussions as we learn from God's Word and each other.

That Used to Be Us
Room 210
Bob Herrick and Craig Herr, Moderators
This class is based on Thomas Friedman and Michael Mandelbaum's latest book, That Used to Be US. We will look at what the authors have to say about - to use their words - "How America fell behind in the world it invented and how we can come back." We'll think about what is good in America, what's going in the wrong direction, what needs to be fixed, and what we can do.
