“I had a wonderful time at a recent Movie NIght at First Pres. church in Joliet. It was a delightful experience to watch a movie outside! It reminded me of when I was a young child and I went to drive-in movies with my family. The hosts of Movie NIght made me feel very welcome, and I appreciated all of the work that they did for this event.

Also, the movie was very interesting and entertaining. It was a documentary movie about a young couple that decided to become farmers, with no prior farming experience. One of the themes of the movie was the interconnectedness of all creatures in our world. That was thought provoking!”

“I took the pickup truck to movie night and we had so much fun tailgating.  I went early when the lot opened to visit and enjoyed talking to the setup team (Kris, Todd, Sue, and Jon Belfield).

Setup was easy and listening to the movie thru radio was very clear.  Movie was very good and one I had not seen.  I learned a lot about the entire food chain.  Cleanup went very quickly with everyone pitching in.

I brought snacks but Kris also gave us a snack pack for a donation to the Micropantry.  Of course I ate it all!

I plan to attend another movie night in October!”
